Feb 4, Tuesday 2025, Prayagraj: King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan arrived in Lucknow on Monday and is scheduled to visit the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj today to take a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam.
Chief Minister Yogi Aditynath Adityanath welcomed the King at the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport and presented him with a bouquet.

Taking to social media platform X, CM Yogi extended his greetings, saying, “Hearty welcome and greetings to His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan in Uttar Pradesh, the sacred land of valour, culture, and cultural harmony!”
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed the King at the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport and presented him with a bouquet. The King will take a holy dip at the Sangam, perform darshan and pujan, and visit the Akshayavat temple and the Bade Hanuman temple. He will also proceed to the Triveni Complex in Arail. The Chief Minister will accompany the King to the Mahakumbh Mela and will leave for Lucknow late in the afternoon after the King’s departure.
