In her response, Chinmayi pointed out the hypocrisy of men who have premarital sex with women and then complain about not being able to find a virgin girl to marry, highlighting the double standards in social expectations around premarital sex. She emphasized that men should also refrain from having sex before marriage if they expect women to remain virgins till marriage as well.

The discussion started when Blinkit’s CEO, Kunal Kamra shared that over 1.2 lakh condom deliveries were made on New Year’s Eve which led to a tweet from the user that was perceived as misogynistic and backward which triggered Chinmati’s response.
