Feb 1, Tuesday, 2025: A 118-member delegation including Heads of Mission their spouses, and diplomats from 77 countries arrived at Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj.
They arrived to experience the spiritual event. The diplomats expressed their excitement and gratitude to India for the opportunity to experience its rich cultural heritage firsthand at Mahakumbh.
The delegation included representatives from various countries, such as Slovakia, Argentina, Zimbabwe, and Bolivia, who congratulated the Indian government for organizing the event and described it as a “once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, which began on January 13, is set to continue till February 26, and over 5.42 million devotees took a dip in the sacred confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, and mystical Saraswati on Saturday.
The event has drawn international attention, with thousands of people from South Africa expected to arrive at the Maha Kumbh Mela before it ends, and diplomats from around the world expressing their excitement and gratitude to India for the opportunity to experience its rich cultural heritage.
