New Delhi: Lt Gen Sumer Ivan D’Cunha, Director General of Army Air Defence, recently revealed that India’s military has the capability to strike anywhere across Pakistan. Speaking about Operation Sindoor, he stated, “The whole of Pakistan is within range.” This assertion highlights India’s advanced weaponry and strategic capabilities.
During Operation Sindoor, India utilized modern technology such as long-range drones and guided munitions to precisely target key Pakistani airbases. Lt Gen D’Cunha emphasized that even if the Pakistan Army relocates its General Headquarters from Rawalpindi to areas like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Indian forces remain capable of reaching them without difficulty.
He further added that India’s armed forces are dedicated to protecting the nation’s sovereignty and people. The operation was successful in preventing any casualties despite threats from drone attacks targeting population centers and military cantonments.
Operation Sindoor demonstrates India’s readiness in modern warfare and represents a strategic shift from reactive defense to proactive security measures. It reflects India’s approach of patient endurance followed by decisive action when provoked.
