Simran is from Jammu and Kashmir and had around 7 Lakh Instagram followers, according to the police they found her body in her room on Wednesday Night, with no pieces of any suicide note found. She last posted on Instagram on the 13th of December. She had been living under a rented accommodation for the apartment she was residing in right now, Simran’s friend who stayed with her in the same flat found her room locked, and her flatmate reached out for help, “a team reached on the spot and broke open the door finding her motionless and declared dead”
Dr. Farooq Abdullah, president of JKNC, J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, and deputy CM Surinder expressed their condolences on the influencer’s tragic demise. RJ Simran was popularly referred to as “Jammu ki Dhadkan”.
It is yet to be confirmed if the incident was suicide or not.
