Saba debuted in 2006 with Ayna and furthered her career with the film Brihonnola in 2015, earning her the Best Actress award at the Jaipur International Film Festival. She was previously married to director Murad Parvez and worked with him on several projects until their divorce in 2016.

Her interrogation follows the arrest of actor and director Meher Afroz Shaon earlier in the evening from her residence in Dhanmondi. According to DB chief Rezaul Karim Mallick, Shaon is under investigation for alleged threats made toward the government.

Shaon’s recent political statements have sparked widespread debate on social media and other platforms. In a shocking development, her ancestral home in Jamalpur, which belonged to her late father Mohammad Ali, was torched by protesters near Narundi Railway Station around 6 pm on Thursday.
