Tata is aiming to capture more share with a big launch of Harrier EV in March 2025. The electric SUV is expected to be displayed in its production show at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The event is anticipated in January 2025. The Tata Harrier EV will be one of the 20 electric cars that Tata Motors plans to put on sale by the end of 2025.
What to Expect from Tata Motors Harrier EV?
Tata Motors has already unveiled the concept version the the Harrier EV. The production version of the EV SUV will be a design closer to the internal combustion engine-drive version of Harrier. The upcoming electric SUV is to preserve the design of the engine-propelled Harrier along with the facets of an electric car. The notable changes will be in the form of the closed panel in place of the Redingote grille, a new set of alloy wheels, no exhaust muzzle at the rear, and improved front and rear bumpers. As for the cabin, expect fresh design elements compared to the ICE version of the SUV. Nevertheless, there will be some similarities as well. The EV has a large touchscreen infotainment system, Tata Motors’s contemporary steering wheel with the company logo designed over it, and a backlit panel.
About the Launch.
Tata Motors announced at the 2023 Auto Expo that the upcoming Harrier EV will be available in multiple powertrain options, It will be viable in single or dual motors, front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive choices too. The Harrier EV will be Tata Motors’ first electric car with a twin motor setup and all-wheel-drive.
