March 26, Ara, Bihar: A horrific incident unfolded at Ara railway station on Tuesday evening when a 16-year-old girl and her father were shot dead by a young man, who later turned the gun on himself. The triple shooting occurred on the footbridge connecting platforms 2 and 3, sending shockwaves through the area.

According to eyewitnesses, the attacker, identified as Aman Kumar (23-24), first shot the girl and then her father before committing suicide. All three died on the spot. The girl, reportedly on her way to board a train to Delhi, was accompanied by her father when the assailant confronted them.

Bhojpur SP Raj stated that while the exact motive remains unclear, a relationship dispute is suspected.
