Modi gives condolences and support to Jaipur incident victims.

Dec 20 Friday, New Delhi: To express his condolences, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the Chief Minister of Rajasthan Bhajanlal Sharma on Friday to enquire about the Jaipur incident. He assured him of all possible support.

From his PMO India X handle, Modi said, “Deeply saddened by the loss of lives in the accident on Jaipur-Ajmer highway in Rajasthan. Condolences to those who lost their loved ones. May the injured recover soon. The local administration is assisting those affected. An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000”

The incident was the Jaipur LPG tanker collision. An LPG tanker had collided with a truck exploding a massive fireball that turned a stretch of the Jaipur-Ajmer highway into a huge fire in which at least 8 lost their lives, 35 were injured and nearly 40 vehicles were engulfed in flames.

Among the 35 injured people nearly half are “very critical”, Rajasthan Health Minister Gajendra Khimsar informed. Keep Reading Questiqa.in for more updates.
