Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer-content creator Dhanashree Verma have sparked speculation after sharing cryptic posts on social media amid reports of their divorce. Although both haven’t publicly accepted or denied the claims, fans’ attention has been fully seized.
Dhanashree uploaded an Instagram story about transforming stress into a blessing. It read, “From Stressed To Blessed. Isn’t it amazing how God can turn our worries and trials into blessings? If you’re stressing about something today, know you have a choice… There is power in having faith that God can work all things together for your good.”
Chahal also shared a post about divine protection, saying, “God has protected me more times than I can count… Thank you, God, for always being there, even when I don’t know it. Amen.” He re-shared the post with a folding hands emoji, further fueling speculation.
As per reports Chahal and Dhanashree’s final divorce hearing took place on Thursday at the Bandra Family Court. Both were present for a counseling session before informing the judge of their mutual decision to separate, stated compatibility issues. They have been living separately for the past 18 months. The final verdict was pronounced at 4:30 PM.
Rumors about their separation began when the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram. Chahal and Dhanashree tied the knot in December 2020 in a private ceremony in Gurugram after meeting during the Covid-19 lockdown when Chahal approached her for dance lessons.
